Onyx Build is a very experienced building contractors company that service every aspect of construction and home improvements. From doors and windows repairs to commercial projects.

How Onxy build came about is still a mystery to me today.  All I know is that I was contacted by Jason’s daughter regarding wanting a website for her partner business which never fulfilled. Later after about a year went by she contacted me again and this time she wanted a job for her father Jason and his business partner.

Soon after we organise a face to face meeting to discuss the website they had in mind. Once we agreed on what they wanted, we began securing the domain name on to our server and setting up to getting it ready for the website developed.

Before all of that, they give me their old logo and asked me to improve it for whilst keeping its originality. I made a few designs for them to choose from and selected the one that loved the most.

We then began gathering information on the website whilst I worked on the design and pages. We include a contact form as well as contact details. On the home page, I added an animated image slider promo. Also on the header, we decorated the background grey with a pattern design on it. I also added a gallery to hold images of previous jobs. Overall the website was designed well and fully responsive. Once it was finished and launched there were only a few areas which needed amending.

After the successful outcome of the website. Jason and Ben asked me if p work on their business card and so I did. When the design was finished and approved we proceed to print. Asked for a glossy paper card as well as plastic PVC card. Once they were happy with the quality we went ahead with the printing. The outcome of the cards was fantastic, especially the plastic one, it’s rebutted durable and water resistance. This card type is definitely suitable for a DIY person.

Working on this project was amazing because this was the first construction website on my portfolio to which I can use as a sample to showcase to future potential clients. Looking back now, I have managed to successfully get 3 more customers just by presenting this site to them. Working with Jason and Ben was very easy going, they followed every advice I have given them. The outcome was turned out fruitful for them. There is definitely a big future for this company if they push to keep up with the same spirit going. I really hope to more business with them in the future.
