Toyah Gold is a qualified NLP practitioner life coach supporting people to dissolving their fears and obstacles that seem to be holding them back from reaching their highest and best outcome in life. How this project come about was really random, To cut the story short, I had a close friend called Nathen when we were teenagers and he is the boyfriend/partner of Toyah. One day I was randomly talking to him on the phone catching up on old times and then we started talking about his family until we reached the point where he mentioned that his partner Toyah was an author and is currently working on a book. I was amazed because I helped Sheik Mohammed Kamaludin not too long ago to publish his book, and I was curious to know how she did her publishing. And So Nathan immediately connected us and we spoke on the phone until I found out that she was trying to build a website to promote her book as well as her life coaching services.  After I told her I was a web developer and was willing to offer my services, she immediately became overwhelmed and agreed to my offer and that’s how we started. The website I designed for her first, was really good, it had a white and violet-red theme, with flowery patterned texture on the header. At first, she loved it, but later down the line, she felt that it did not reflect who she is as a character. And so she requested that she wanted very bright fluorescent colours to measure up to her character. She also gave me some examples of colours prepared and so, I began redesigning and making amendments to the website until she was completely over the moon. Summary Working with Toyah was fantastic, she is a very ambitious woman who is very creative. After understanding the unique style of what she wanted, things became easier to put together. And she knew exactly what she wanted. Altogether, I see a lot of potential in Toyah, but she being a novice in computers can take her little longer before she can maximise in her objective. I have to say, this project has taught me something very important, that is always networked with people regardless of family or friends, remind them of what you do so that one day they can always connect you with potential customers.
